MSBOA SHMS Student Amazing Achievements
A BIG, "Congratulations!" to SongHyeon Lee and Finley Koh for being selected for the Michigan Schools Band and Orchestra Association 2026 All-State Ensembles. Song has been placed as the Principal Violinist for the Middle School Orchestra and Finley was selected as Honorable Mention for the Middle School Band on Flute. This places Song and Finley among the top middle school musicians in the entire state. Over 2,500 students auditioned for just 400 spots. After two and a half days of rehearsal, the musicians will perform on Saturday, January 24, 2026 in the DeVos Performance Hall in Grand Rapids as part of the 21st Annual Michigan Music Conference.
